Vasabringamalakadi Herbal Hair Oil - Kerala Ayurvedic Scalp Care, 100ml
Vasabringamalakadi Herbal Hair Oil is a classical Kerala kadi oil, and its name tells you what is inside it: Vasa, Bhringaraj and Amalaki. Three herbs Kerala Ayurveda has used on the scalp for generations, prepared by traditional method rather than blended into a cosmetic base.
It is made by Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy, a GMP-certified Ayurvedic manufacturer in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad, and stocked by us. We name the manufacturer and publish their licence, because most sellers of Ayurvedic products online will do neither.
This is the scalp-first oil in our hair range. Where Karmukhil is about the look and condition of the hair, Vasabringamalakadi is for the skin underneath it — flaking, dryness and the discomfort that comes with a scalp that is not settled.
100% natural herbal ingredients. No synthetic fragrance, no artificial colour, no harmful chemicals.

How to use
- Take 5–10 ml in your palm, depending on hair length.
- Part the hair and apply directly to the scalp — not only to the lengths.
- Massage in slow circles with your fingertips for 5–10 minutes.
- Leave for at least an hour, or overnight for a deeper treatment.
- Wash with a mild shampoo. Use 2–3 times a week.
Be consistent. Traditional Kerala hair care works over months, not days.

Frequently asked questions
Which of your two hair oils should I choose?
Vasabringamalakadi if your concern is the scalp — flaking, dryness, discomfort. Karmukhil if your concern is the hair itself — how it looks, feels and behaves. Many customers use Vasabringamalakadi first, then move to Karmukhil once the scalp has settled.
How often should I use it?
Two to three times a week suits most people. Daily is fine if your scalp is very dry.
Can I leave it on overnight?
Yes, and once a week overnight gives the herbs the longest contact time. Use an old pillowcase or a cotton wrap.
Is it heavy or sticky?
It is a traditional oil, so richer than a light serum. Use a small quantity and wash with a mild shampoo.
Is it really 100% natural?
The formulation is herbal, with no synthetic colour, artificial fragrance or harsh chemical additives. The full ingredient list is printed on the pack.
Who makes it, and who am I buying from?
It is manufactured by Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad, under Manufacturing Licence 10/25D/2018 and GMP Certificate No. 976. Thathasthu Herbals stocks and sells it. We are not the manufacturer of this particular product, and we say so — the licence details are printed on the pack and listed above.
How long before I see a difference?
Scalp comfort often improves within a few weeks. Hair texture is a longer project — give it three months of consistent use.
