Refund policy

We want you to receive exactly what you ordered, in good condition. Where that does not happen, we will put it right.

We also have to be straight with you about one limit: we cannot accept returns of opened medicines. The reason is below, and it is not a technicality.

What we will replace or refund in full

Items that arrive damaged or leaking
Wrong items — you received something you did not order
Missing items from a multi-item order
Items that are past or near their expiry date on arrival
Orders that never arrive

In these cases we cover return shipping where a return is needed, and refund any shipping you paid.

What we cannot accept back

Any product whose seal has been broken, or which has been opened or used.

These are licensed Ayurvedic medicines. Once a bottle or jar has been opened, we have no way to confirm how it has been stored, whether anything has been added to it, or whether it is safe. Reselling a returned opened medicine would be wrong, and we will not do it. That means we cannot take it back either.

We also cannot accept:

products returned more than 7 days after delivery
products without their original packaging, carton and labels
requests based on the product not producing a particular result — traditional Ayurvedic preparations are intended for consistent use over weeks or months, and no outcome is guaranteed
free items and promotional inclusions

How to raise a return or refund

Email info@thathasthu.in within 48 hours of delivery for damage, wrong or missing items, or within 7 days for an unopened, unwanted product.
Include your order number and photographs of the item, its labels and the outer packaging including the shipping label.
We will respond within 2 working days with a decision or a question.
Where a return is approved, keep the item in its original packaging until we confirm the pickup or return address.

Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed it. Unannounced returns cannot be traced to an order.

Unopened, unwanted products

If you have simply changed your mind and the seal is intact, you may return the product within 7 days of delivery in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your cost, and we will refund the product value once we receive it and confirm the seal is unbroken. Original outbound shipping is not refunded.

Once we initiate a refund it is with your bank or payment provider. Any further delay is on their side, and we will give you the reference number to follow it up.
