Terms of service

These terms apply when you use thathasthu.in or buy from us. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who can order

You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract. By ordering you confirm the delivery details you give us are accurate and that you are ordering for personal use or for a business you are authorised to act for.

2. What we sell

Licensed Ayurvedic medicines. Two are our own formulations under Thathasthu Loan Licence No. 11/25E/2024; the rest are manufactured by Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy under Manufacturing Licence 10/25D/2018. Which is which is stated on every product page and on our Licences & Manufacturing page.

Our products are intended to support general wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please read our Disclaimer before ordering.

3. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including ingredients in botanical names, dosage and directions. Photographs are representative; packaging design and label layout may change between batches.

Always read the label and the leaflet on the pack. Where the pack and this website differ, follow the pack and tell us so we can correct the site.

4. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when you pay. We may decline or cancel an order for the reasons set out in our Cancellation Policy, and will refund you in full if we do.

5. Pricing

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before payment.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will not simply charge you the higher amount.

6. Payment

Payment is taken through third-party gateways supporting UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets, and by cash on delivery where available. We do not receive or store your full card details or UPI PIN.

7. Delivery, returns and cancellation

See our Shipping Policy, Refund & Return Policy and Cancellation Policy. They form part of these terms.

Note in particular that opened medicines cannot be returned, for the safety reasons explained in the refund policy.

8. Using this website

You may not use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation, scrape it systematically, or misrepresent yourself. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this is happening.

9. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, guides and design on this site belong to Thathasthu Herbals or are used with permission. You are welcome to read, share links and quote us with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of our content as your own — including our product descriptions and buying guides.

"Thathasthu", "Samhara" and "Thrupthan" are our marks. "Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy", "Karmukhil", "Diacare", "Orthokare", "Sidhikalpam" and "Vasabringamalakadi" belong to Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy and are used here as the stockist of their products.

10. Limits on our liability

We take responsibility for supplying products that match their description and are in the condition described, and for the commitments in our policies.

We are not liable for outcomes arising from use of a product contrary to its label directions, or without the professional advice our Disclaimer asks you to seek. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Third parties

Where this site links to another website, we are not responsible for its content or practices.

12. Grievance redressal

For any complaint, email info@thathasthu.in with your order number and "Grievance" in the subject line.

As required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month of receipt.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Wayanad, Kerala have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer forum where you live.
